Personal supervision:
 Check your feet on a daily basis. Should you note any abnormalities, then inform your doctor or Chiropodist-Podiatrist.

Appointments with a chiropodist-podiatrist
 If the chiropodist knows you are diabetic he will be able to check your feet's condition and treat them accordingly. Together with your doctor he will be able to decide whether or not it is necessary to treat your plantar static. They will be able to treat areas of hyperkeratosis on a regular basis using the appropriate equipment.
